Luca Maria Moneta (ITA) & Connery won the €50,000 Bentley Lugano Prize CSI 4* yesterday during the Longines CSI Ascona 4* in Ascona, Switzerland.

The Italian and the 17-year-old bay Westphalian gelding (Cordobes II x Polydor) secured the victory in the jump-off by clearing all the 1.50m obstacles and crossing the finish line with no penalties in 37.60 seconds.

Marcel Marschall (GER) & Fenia van Klapscheut (Cicero Z van paemel x Ahorn Z) earned silver honors backed by a clean scorecard, going through the timers in 38.07 seconds during the tiebreaker.

Douglas Lindelöw (SWE) & Zacramento (Cardento x Cortus) rounded out the top three after completing their second flawless performance just three-hundredths of a second slower than the latter two.
