
Jos Verlooy (BEL) & Igor won the €60,400 First GCL Individual Competition, presented by Le Figaro last Thursday during the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping at the Champ de Mars in Paris, France.
The Belgian and the 10-year-old chestnut Belgian Warmblood gelding (Emerald van’t Ruytershof x Nabab de Reve) triumphed in the speed challenge by overcoming all the 1.50m/1.55m obstacles along the track, completing the course with no penalties in 67.77 seconds for the victory.
Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) & Arera C (Indoctro x Voltaire) matched the winners’ clean score, finishing second only due to their time of 68.61 seconds.
Marcus Ehning (GER) & Pret A Tout (Hiram Chambertin x Stew Boy) rounded out the top three with a penalty-free performance in 69.31 seconds.
