Andrew Welles (USA) & Serpico won the West Canadian Cup last Sunday during the ‘Pan American’ CSI 5* at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The American and the 10-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding (Ars Vivendi x Aldatus Z) claimed top honors in the 1.50m challenge backed by a flawless jump-off performance in 38.270 seconds.

Hunter Holloway (USA) & Eastern Jam (Lexicon x Salana) were the closest ones, finishing second only due to their time of 39.560 seconds.

Brian Cournane (IRL) & Penelope Cruz (Ustinov x Peter Pan) rounded out the top three with no penalties and a time of 39.560 seconds during the tiebreaker.
