
Philipp Weishaupt (GER) & Lesson Peak won the €35,000 Dura Vermeer Prize CSI 5* yesterday during the first day of competition at the CHIO of Rotterdam 5* in The Netherlands.
The German and the 12-year-old bay Holsteiner gelding (Lord Z x Cashandcarry) were victorious in the 1.55m jump-off contest backed by two penalty-free performances, the decisive one in 36.61 seconds.
Luciana Diniz (POR) & Isabeau (Winningmood x Gershwin) finished second, registering no penalties and a jump-off time of 38.42 seconds.
Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) & Cantinero earned bronze honors, going through the timers just fourteen-hundredths of a second slower than the latter combination.
