Tiffany Foster (CAN) & Brighton won the $40,000 AltaGas Cup CSI 5* last Friday during ‘The Continental’ at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The Canadian and the 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding (Contendro II x Quick Star) triumphed by overcoming all the 1.45m obstacles, topping over 80 other combinations backed by a penalty-free jump-off performance in 40.400 seconds.
Theodore Boris (ISR) & Garkus van het Indihof (Toulon x Rubens du Ri D’Asse) were also double clear, earning silver honors just one-hundredth of a second slower than the eventual winners.
Sofia Larrea (MEX) & Gigolo (Cicero x Quickfeuer van Koekshof) rounded out the top three with no penalties a time of 41.770 seconds during the tiebreaker.
