
Patricio Pasquel (MEX) & Babel won the Bantrel Cup last Wednesday during ‘The National’ at Sprunce Meadows in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The Mexican and the 11-year-old chestnut gelding (Billy du Lys x High Flyer) were victorious in the 1.55m jump-off challenge by registering no penalties throughout their two performances, completing the decisive one in 42.660 seconds.
Jordan Coyle (IRL) & Eristov (Cicero Z van Paemel x Concorde) earned silver honors backed by two penalty-free efforts, going through the timers in 43.100 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Spencer Smith (USA) & Theodore Manciais (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Power Light) rounded out the top three after posting their second flawless effort, going through the timers in 44.260 seconds.
