Rodrigo Lambre (BRA) & Chapilot won the $35,500 Artisan Farms Nations Welcome yesterday during Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Canada at the Tunderbird Show Park in Langley, Canada.
The Brazilian and the 11-year-old bay Hannoverian gelding (Chacco-Blue x Pilot) took the lead for good in the 1.45m speed challenge by leaving all the poles up and registering no penalties in 64.27 seconds.
Ashlee Meeus Bond (ISR) & Belo Horizonte (Baloubet du Rouet x Clearway) were the closest ones, the only difference being their time of 65.08 seconds.
Keean White (CAN) & Z Diamanty (Diamant de Semilly x Cor de La Bryere) rounded out the top three with a penalty-free performance two seconds slower than the latter two.
