Sharn Wordley (NZL) & Barnetta won the $35,000 Welcome Stake CSI 2* earlier yesterday during thef fourth week of the Tryon Spring Series at the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) in Mill Spring, North Carolina, USA.
The New Zealander and the 14-year-old bay Westphalian gelding (Baloubet du Rouet x Polydor) claimed top honors by leaving all the poles up at George Morris Arena for the second time, completing the jump-off with no penalties in 44.592 seconds.
Santiago Lambre (MEX) & D’Artagnan
Santiago Lambre (MEX) & D’Artagnan (Mr. Blue x Carthago) earned silver honors after registering their second penalty-free performance, going through the finish line in 44.92 seconds.
Deborah Stephens (USA) & Condor C
Deborah Stephens (USA) & Condor C (Cassini I x Caretino) rounded out the top backed by a clean scorecard and a jump-off time of 45.134 seconds.
