
Jos Verlooy (BEL) & Japatero VDM won the €25,375 NFR Trophy CSI 5* last Thursday during the Longines Global Champions Tour at the Derby Park Klein Flottbeck in Hamburg, Germany.
The Belgian and the 9-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding (Eldorado van de Zeshoek x For Pleasure) triumphed in the 1.45m two-phase class by advancing to and completing phase two with no penalties in 32.21 seconds.
Martin Fuchs (SUI) & Cristo (Cristo x Stakkato) also registered a penalty-free performance all the way to the finish line, stopping the final timers in 32.50 seconds for silver honors.
Karel Cox (BEL) & Evert (Amadeus x Indoctro) earned bronze honors, just nine-hundredths of a second slower than the latter two.
