Gudrun Patteet (BEL) & Sea Coast Pebbles Z won the €25,200 Rabobank Prize yesterday during the first day of competition at the CSI Eindhoven 3* in the Netherlands.
The Belgian and the 12-year-old bay Zangersheide gelding (Picasso x Flamenco de Semilly) claimed top honors in the 1.50m jump-off class after completing their second penalty-free performance, going through the timers in 40.58 seconds.
The home crowd saw one of their countrymen claim second place after when Leopold van Asten (NED) & VDL Groep Beauty (For Pleasure x Contender) completed their jump-off performance with no penalties in 42.72 seconds.
Marcel Ewen (LUX) & Excenel V (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Landetto) rounded out the top three by leaving all the poles up and having no time-penalties throughout their two efforts, completing the second one in 43.48 seconds.
