Jérôme Guery (BEL) & Kel’star du Ving Ponts won the €25,000 Caser Seguros Trophy CSI 5* yesterday during the Longines Global Champions Tour of Madrid CSI 5* at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid in Spain.
The Belgian and the 9-year-old black gelding (Kannan x Landor S) triumphed in the 1.45m speed contest by leaving all the poles up and completing the course set by Santiago Varela in 64.51 seconds.
Jane Richard Philips (SUI) & Victorio des Grez (Nabab de Reve x Laudanum) matched the winning duo’s score, finishing second only due to their time of 67.36 seconds.
Megane Moissonnier (FRA) & Saratoga Bois Margot (L’Arc de Triomphe x Quidam de Revel) rounded out the top three with no penalties in 68.43 seconds.
