Darragh Kenny (IRL) & Cassini Z won the €50,200 CaixaBank Trophy CSI 5* last Friday during the Longines Global Champions Tour of Madrid CSI 5* at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid in Spain.
The Irishman and the 11-year-old bay Oldenburg gelding (Cassini II x Capone) took the lead for good in the 1.50/1/55m speed challenge by leaving all the rails and completing their performance with no penalties in 69.33 seconds.
Eric Lamaze (CAN) & Fine Lady
Eric Lamaze (CAN) & Fine Lady (Forsyth FRH x Drosselklang II) were close, finishing second only due to their time of 69.57 seconds.
Cameron Hanley (IRL) & Eis Isaura
Cameron Hanley (IRL) & Eis Isaura (Tinka’s Boy x Darco) earned bronze honors with no penalties in 71.64 penalty-points.
