
Luiz Felipe Pimenta Alves (BRA) & GB Celine R won the R$18,000 Gerdau Prize class yesterday on the second day of competition during The Best Jump CSI 2*-W at the Sociedade Hípica Porto Alegrense in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

The Brazilian and the 10-year-old bay Brazilian Sport Horse mare stormed to victory in the 1.45m jump-off challenge by being the fastest of the only three combinations that registered a double clear, stopping the timers in 44.41 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Second place was claimed by Felipe Lopes Morgan (BRA) & Dartagnan JB with a time of 44.60 seconds.
Pedro Backheuser (BRA) & JCR Quantico (Quidam de Revel x Landritter) earned bronze honors after posting their second penalty-free run, going through the timers in 45.78 seconds.
