Scott Brash (GBR) has retained his overall lead in the 2018 Longines Global Champions Tour standings after a tenth-place finish in the €300,000 Longines Grand Prix of Miami Beach CSI 5* two weeks ago. As a result, the Brit added 27 points to his previous score of 40 from the win in the first leg in Mexico City and will seek to widen his margin during the Longines Global Champions Tour of Shanghai CSI 5* this week in China.

Brash leads the standings with a total of 67 points, just seven points ahead of Pieter Devos (BEL) who was consistent once again, registering 33 points in Miami Beach due to a fourth-place finish aboard Claire Z (Clearway x Coronado). Edwina Tops-Alexander’s (AUS) victory last Saturday put her in the title chase, making the biggest climb in the leaderboard all the way up to third place with a total of 54 points.
