Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP) & Charmeur won the €94,200 Second GCL class CSI 5* last Saturday during the Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach CSI 5* in Miami, Florida, USA.
The Spaniard and the 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood stallion (Numero Uno x Gelha’s VDL Emilion) were victorious in the 1.50m-1.60m speed challenge by being the fastest among the only three combinations that registered no penalties, stopping the timers in 69.36 seconds.
Bertram Allen (IRL) & Gin Chin van het Lindenhof (Chin Chin x Calido I) were the runners-up with a time of 69.57 seconds while Jos Verlooy (BEL) & Caracas (Casall x Colman) earned bronze honors in 70.09 seconds.
