
Cameron Hanley (IRL) & Eis Isaura won the €25,450 1.45m jump-off class yesterday during the Toscana Tour CSI 4* at the Arezzo Equestrian Centre in Arezzo, Italy.
The Irishman and the 10-year-old chestnut Belgian Warmblood mare (Tinka’s Boy x Darco) took the lead for good in the decisive phase by clearing all the obstacles and crossing the finish line with no penalties in 32.79 seconds.
It was a very close contest between the top two combinations since Giulia Martinengo Marquet (ITA) & Courage des Fegie (Cornet Obolensky x Acord II) were second only eight-hundredths of a second slower.
Derin Demirsoy (TUR) & Dadjak Ter Puttenen (Toulon x Vanitas) earned bronze honors with no penalties and a time of 33.51 seconds during the tiebreaker.
