Michael Pender (IRL) & Dome Van Overis Z won the €24,750 Longevity Cegonha Country Club sponsored Longines Ranking class CSI 3* yesterday during the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour CSI 3* at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre in Quarteira, Faro, Portugal.
The Irishman and the 8-year-old bay Zangersheide gelding (Darco x Oklund) took the lead for good during the jump-off when they crossed the finish line accumulating no penalties in 37.25 seconds.
Second place was claimed by Graham Babes (GBR) & Boucheron (Valentino x Burggraaf) after a penalty-free performance 38.38 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Taizo Sugitami (JPN) & Diamant (Ukato x Ekstein) completed the podium with no faults and a time of 39.35 seconds in the decisive phase.
