
Miriam Schneider (GER) & Cartagena took top honors in the €143,800 Emirates Airline Dubai Grand Prix yesterday during the Dubai Show Jumping Championship CSI 5* at the Emirates Equestrian Centre in the United Arab Emirates.

The German and the 11-year-old bay Mecklenburg mare (Cellestial & Le Matin) were simply phenomenal for the second time, registering no penalties after overcoming all the 1.60m maximum-height obstacles in the two-round contest. They were over two seconds faster than the runners-up, being clocked at 46.10 seconds at the end of round 2.

It was a 1-2 for Germany as Jörg Naeve (GER) & Be Aperle VA (Clarimo x Concerto II) secured the second spot on the podium with no penalties and a time of 48.27 seconds during the final round.
Frederic David (FRA) & Equador van’t Roosakker were the only other combination with two clear performances, the second one in 48.69 seconds for the third spot on the podium.
