Alain Jufer (SUI) & Samira won the Gönnerclub Pferdesport Basel yesterday during the Longines CSI Basel 5* in Switzerland. The Swiss and the 12-year-old bay German Sport Horse mare (Baloubino B x Sirius Son) took a definite lead in the speed class when they completed the course leaving all the poles set at 1.40m up in 53.70 seconds.
Harrie Smolders (NED) continues working his Harry Houdini magic with the reins, guiding Corrada (Oklund x Lauriston) to a fault-free performance in 55.06 seconds for silver honors. Luca Maria Moneta (ITA) & Ambra (Quintender x Grandeur) rounded out the top three with no penalties in 55.17 seconds.
