
Daniel Deusser (GER) & Tobago Z won the Léon Melchior Open Sires of the World Zangersheide CSI5* class yesterday during the Jumping Mechelen CSI 5*-W in Belgium. The German and the 9-year-old chestnut Zangersheide stallion (Tangelo van Zuuthoeve x Mr. Blue) left all the 1.45m obstacles in the cups for the second time, blazing through the course before crossing the finish line in 34.85 seconds.
Second place was claimed by Rachel Steffen (BEL) & Uncanto di Villagana (Canturo x Acord II) after registering no penalties in 38.45 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Damien Haelterman (BEL) & Hooligan de Laubry (Clinton x Skippy II) rounded out the top three with their second penalty-free run in 39.34 seconds.
