Daniel Deusser (GER) & SX Hidalgo VG won the €25,000 the Levy Restaurants sponsored Snowman Stakes yesterday during Olympia – The London International Horse Show CSI 5*-W in England. The German and the 10-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood gelding (Quadrillo x Andiamo) triumphed in the 1.50m two round contest by registering the fastest penalty-free performance in 42.32 seconds during the second round.
Olivier Robert (FRA) & Vivaldi des Meneaux (Chippendale Z x Bamako) finished second with no penalties at the end of their both runs, completing their second run just three-hundredths of a second slower than the eventual winners.
Harrie Smolders (NED) & Zinius (Nabab de Reve x Kannan) clinched bronze honors after leaving all the poles up twice and stopping the timers in 42.47 seconds in the decisive phase.
