Daniel Deusser (GER) & Cornet D’Amour (Cornet Obolensky x Damiani) took the definite lead halfway through the jump-off. The German and the 14-year-old grey Westphalian Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V. gelding shaved off precious time by doing very tight turns, clearing all the 1.60m obstacles and completing the jump-off in 37.95 seconds for an amazing victory. It was also the first big competition for the renowned gelding since returning from injury, adding more spice to the fairytale ending.
