Samuel Parot (CHI) & VDL Aberlino Ride won the $25,000 ESP Pre-Charity Grand Prix last Sunday during the 2017 ESP Pre-Charity Show at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, Florida. The Chilean and the 12-year-old black Dutch Warmblood (KWPN) gelding (Corland x Purioso) triumphed by posting two penalty-free performances, the decisive one in 37.56 seconds.

Theo Genn (GER) & Dirocco Blue (Zirocco Blue VDL x Quat’sous) were the runners-up as the only other combination to leave all the poles up during their two performances, stopping the timers in 39.231 seconds. Genn (GER) also took third place, this time guiding Van Gogh (Numero Uno x Bernstein) to four penalties, although registering the fastest time of 37.443 seconds.
