Hugo Tavares (POR) & Phebus du Fief won the €31,900 Master speed class yesterday during the Autumn Cup at the Costa del Sol Equestrian Tour CSI 2* in Mijas, Spain. The Portuguese and the 14-year-old chestnut Stud-Book Selle Français gelding (Echo des Forets x Prince Ig’or) galloped towards victory in the 1.45m contest by leaving all the rails up and completing the course in 66.57 seconds.

Gerardo Menendez Mieres (ESP) & Cassino DC (Cassini I – Etienne V) faut-free performance in 67.22 seconds earned them silver honors while Laura Renwick (GBR) & Bintang II (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Orlando) completed the podium with no penalties in 67.47 seconds.
