Daniel Neilson (GBR) & Newton Nickel won the €25,000 Gold 4 Two-Phase class CSI 2* last Friday during the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour CSI 2* in Oliva Nova, Spain. The Brit and the 13-year-old bay Anglo-European gelding (Wolfgang x Indoctro) took top honors by leaving all the poles up for no penalties and stopping the timers in 31.08 seconds.

Govett Triggol (RSA) & Wolke 334 (Quinar x Acord II) secured second place by advancing to and completing the second phase with a clear score in 31.55 seconds. Niall Talbot (IRL) & Caracter (Carano x Liatos) clinced bronze honors with a penalty-free run of 32.31 seconds in the second part of the 1.45m contest.
