Eric Navet (FRA) & Basimodo won the $25,000 GGT-Footing Series Final last Sunday during the Del Mar International Horse Show CSI 3*-W at the Del Mar Horse Park in California, USA. The Frenchman and the 11-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood gelding (Quasimodo Z x Codexco) overcame the rest of the combinations by posting a penalty-free performance of 33.90 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Ashlee Meeus Bond (USA) & Dollar Girl had two clear rounds, securing second place in 35.41 seconds. Soehnke Theymann (GER) & Cypress VF (Chepetto x Classido) were the only other duo that didn’t knock down any obstacles, going through the timers in 43.65 seconds.
