
Gothenburg, Sweden – February 21, 2026 – The Irish flag was risen above the rest on Saturday at the 2026 Gothenburg Horse Show CSI 5*-W. The combination responsible for this feat were Denis Lynch (IRL) and Katja, who conquered the €50,000 Agria Prize CSI 5*-W.

Despite facing fierce competition in the 1.50m speed challenge against 23 other combinations, it was the Irishman and the 11-year-old chestnut Dutch Warmblood (KWPN) mare who dashed to the top of the final standings backed by a fault-free round in 55.16 seconds.
Yuri Mansur (BRA) and Mister Jup were just two-tenths off the winning mark, securing silver honors in 55.36 seconds.
Sandra Auffarth (GER) and Comcador OLD rounded out the top three after a clean performance in 59.58 seconds.
