Scott Brash Takes the First Step to Complete the Sweep, Winning the Grand Prix of Doha CSI 3*

Doha, Qatar – January 10, 2026 – Scott Brash (GBR) was the star of the second week of the Doha Equestrian Tour‘s H.H. The Father Amir’s Prix CSI 5* & CSI 3*. Just before going on to win the feature class at the event, Brash (GBR) gave a prelude of more greatness that would come later on in the grand finale at Al Shaqab. Once again, the only rider to have completed the Grand Slam of Show Jumping showed why he’s one of the most respected riders in the world, guiding Hello Chadora Lady to the top in the €106,000 Grand Prix of Doha CSI 3*.

After the first round, 16 combinations managed to stamp their tickets to the tiebreaker but only fifteen took part in it as Rikke Belinda Barker (DEN) decided to withdraw with Icloud. Brash was in great company as the likes of Philipp Weishaupt (GER), Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS), Harry Charles (GBR), Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (GER), Abdel Said (BEL), all multiple five-star victors themselves, joined the dash for the cash in the Longines Arena.

Brash was bold aboard the 2013 bay Oldenburg mare (Chacco-Blue x Nintender), laying down the gauntlet while still managing to keep all the poles up before stopping the timers in 32.34 seconds for top honors.

Abdel Said (BEL) & Wathnan Calvaro

Abdel Said (BEL) put on a valiant effort Wathnan Calvaro, however, their time of 33.49 seconds was over a second slower than the winning mark, still good enough for second place on the podium.

Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (GER) & Iron Dames High Level

A regular podium finisher herself during the past two weeks at one of the wonders of the sport when it comes to equestrian venues, Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (GER) registered another one, this time by riding Iron Dames High Level impecably in 33.74 seconds.
