
Mexico City, Mexico – March 30, 2025 – The Mexican rider Alberto Sanchez Cozar (MEX) and his stallion CBS Khantastic emerged as the undisputed winners of the €57,600 El Palacio de Hierro Trophy. This challenge was the Grand Prix of the CSI 2* series, with a height of 1.45 meters. Only 11 of the 52 horse-and-rider combinations that participated managed to advance to the jump-off.

Eight of the participants in the jump-off completed their rounds without penalty-points. First place went to Alberto Sanchez Cozar and CBS Khantastic, with a time of 41.56 seconds. The other two spots on the podium were taken by two Argentine riders.

Second place was claimed by Jeronimo Gimenez Herrera (ARG) and his horse Pampero. The duo left all the poles up in the tiebreaker, securing second place in 42.02 seconds.

The third spot on the podium was conquered Rodrigo Seoane (ARG) and his mare Kiara Elite LS. The duo also registered no penalties in the tiebreaker, earning bronze honors eight-tenths of a second behind the latter two.
