
Poznań , Poland – December 08, 2024 – Ireland impresses! Harry Allen (IRL) and Calculatus claimed the €105,600 PKO Bank Polski Grand Prix of Poznan CSI 4*-W, valid for the FEI Jumping World Cup – Central European League, held last Sunday during the leg of Cavaliada Tour – Poznań CSI 4*-W.
Fifty combinations faced the 1.55m obstacles of the first round course with 10 of them qualifying for the jump-off. In the end, only three managed to duplicate the feat, securing their place on the podium. Allen and the 2014 Westphalian gelding (Cachassini x Contello), owned by Ballywalter Stables impressed the most, securing the win in 38.64 seconds.
The next two spots on the podium were claimed by “Ruiters in Orange”. Hessel Hoekstra rode VDL Stud’s 10-year-old Comthago VDL (Comme Il Faut x Carthago Z) towards silver honors in 39.35 seconds while Megan Lasseur (NED) and Kwanta Kosta PR (Thunder vd Zuuthoeve x Vermont) rounded out the top three in 41.20 seconds.
