
Opglabbeek, Belgium – August 11, 2024 – A fantastic weekend of top sport concluded on “Super Sunday” with the running of the €105,625 TM² Equestrian Team Grand Prix CSI 4* at Sentower Park. A total of forty-nine riders entered the ring for the first round of the 1.55m jump-off challenge and 14 of them managed to complete it in flawless fashion, thus advancing to the tiebreaker. In the end, it was Sanne Thijssen (NED) and Con Quidam RB (Quinar Z x Cardino 5) who soared to first place, overcoming the other 13 finalists with a foot-perfect round in 34.88 seconds.
Marlon Módolo Zanotelli (BRA) and Zy-Zento (Zento x Indoctro) were right on the heels of the eventual winners, finishing only thirteen-hundredths of a second behind (35.01s).
Having already claimed the crown of European Champions and coming off a milestone victory in the Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen CSIO 5*, André Thieme (GER) and his DSP Chakaria (Chap 47 x Asakari 173) did not disappoint either, rounding oout the top three in 36.20 seconds.
