One-Two for Brazil as Pedro Veniss Powers to Victory in €27,100 Small Grand Prix CSI 4*

Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – March 25, 2023 – Two riders representing Brazil were proud of their places on the podium during the penultimate day of the XIX Andalucia Sunshine Tour at Montenmedio today. The €27,100 Small Grand Prix CSI 4* was a Ranking class held in  the geo-textile Milton arena.  With 16 riders in the jump-off it was Pedro Veniss (BRA) with his 14-year-old faithful partner Boeckmanns Lord Pezi Junior (Böckmann’s Lord Pezi x Quattro 7), who stopped the timers in just 31.35 seconds. This is their third win here, as well as having taken a well deserved third place in the big class on Thursday.

Carlos Eduardo Mota Ribas (BRA) topped off the Brazilian domination on the podium with the nine-year old black gelding, Trix (Asterix E Z x Skippy II), owned by Clare and John Whitaker, who had recently arrived here at the Tour. Ribas and the gelding

Edward Levy (FRA) completed the podium with the 12-year-old stallion Broadway de Mormoulin (Kannan x For Pleasure), doing so after registering their second penalty-free performance in 32.49 seconds.
