Oliva Nova, Valencia, Spain – November 25, 2022 – Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and Astuce de La Roque aced the course to win Friday’s €26,000 CHG Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2* at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour. The speed class which counted for the Longines World Ranking featured 65 combinations but only fifteen of them managed to complete the course with no penalties.
Bettendorf bested the competition by guiding the 2010 bay Selle Français mare (Kannan x Quick Star) flawlessly over all the obstacles and across the finish line in 64.54 seconds.
Margaux Rocuet (FRA) and Iliade Kdw Z (Indoctro x Brahmann St Simeon) were almost two seconds slower, but were still able earn a second-place finish with their time of 66.41 seconds.
Simon Barthe (FRA) and Delia Mouche (Kannan x Mr Blue) completed the podium in 67.05 seconds.
