Michel Robert & Emerette Excel in Speed €26,100 Challenge CSI 4* at Bourg-en-Bresse

Bourg-en-Bresse, France – May 20, 2021 – The French flag was raised higher than the rest as Michel Robert (FRA) and Emerette rode to victory in the €26,100 Conseil Regional Auvergne Rhône Alpes yesterday during the opening day of the Jumper International de Bourg-en-Bresse.

The Frenchman and the 12-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood mare (Diarado x Almerette) secured top honors by posting a penalty-free performance in 65.21 seconds.

Nina Mallevaey (FRA) and Virtuose Champeix (Rubin des Bruyeres x Avec Espoir) also cleared all the poles set at 1.50m meters, registering no penalties in 67.02 seconds to earn a second-place finish.

The host nation got off to a great start in the main class of the day, backed by an all-French trifecta. Julien Gonin (FRA) and Valou Du Lys (Calvaro F.C. x Galoubet A.) were also clean while tripping the timers in 67.19 seconds for bronze honors.
