Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – November 13, 2020 – Mathieu Billot (FRA) and Ilena S were the winners of the €15,140 Small Grand Prix CSI 4* yesterday during the sixth week of the 2020 Vilamoura Champions Tour at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre.

Since the feature jump-off class had 152 entries, and according to FEI rules, it had to be split into two sections, following the California split format. The Frenchman and the 2008 bay Belgian Warmblood gelding (Verdi x Calido I) advanced to and completed the tiebreaker without having any penalties attributed to them.

Gregory Wathelet (BEL) and Indago (Concorde x Nimmerdor) claimed silver honors in section A of the 1.40m contest, registering no penalties and a final time of 30.17 seconds.

William Fletcher (GBR) and Persimmon (Salute R P x Indorado) rounded out the top three, backed by a clean scorecard while tripping the jump-off timers in 30.70 seconds.
