Grimaud, France – September 23, 2020 – Pius Schwizer (SUI) made his presence known on the first day of the Hubside Jumping CSI 5*/3* & 2*. Competing there for the first time this year, the Swiss rode Chidame Z to victory in the €10,000 Hubside Two-Phase Challenge CSI 3*.

Schwizer teamed up with the 12-year-old bay Zangersheide mare (Chippendale Z x Quidam de Revel) and secured first place by advancing to and completing the second section of the 1.45m challenge without having any penalties attributed to them, going through the final timers in 41.20 seconds.

Sébastien Duplant (FRA) and Alpha de Preuilly (Pacha de Preuilly x Cento) were also clear right to the end, finishing in second place after a final time of 42.89 seconds.

Michel Robert (FRA) and Van Kilmor (Valentino x Kotrak) completed the podium with no penalties, crossing the finish line in 43.08 seconds.

Pour la première fois présent à l’Hubside Jumping 2020, le Suisse Pius Schwizer s’est imposé dès l’ouverture de ce week-end de compétition, dans l’épreuve phare du CSI3*, à 1,45m. En selle sur Chidame Z, il devance les Français Sébastien Duplant et Michel Robert, respectivement deuxième et troisième de l’épreuve avec Alpha de Preuilly et Van Kilmor.
