Markus Beerbaum (GER) claimed top honors in Saturday’s most important class at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour CSI 2* in Oliva Nova, Spain.

The German won the €10,000 CHG Trophy CSI 2* aboard Charmed 2 by guiding the 10-year-old Hannoverian mare (Chacco-Blue x Plural) over all the 1.45m obstacles throughout their two performances for no penalties, completing the jump-off in 39.21 seconds for the victory.

Danielle Goldstein (ISR) and Celebrity VDL (Indoctro x Emilion) were the closest ones to the winners, being only four-tenths of a second slower during the decisive phase.

David Will (GER) and Fortune 17 (Flashlight 16 x Polydor) rounded out the top three backed by a clean scorecard and a final time of 40.10 seconds.
