
Eric Lamaze (CAN) & Fine Lady 5 won the $385,000 Grand Prix CSI 5* yesterday during ‘The Continental’ at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The Canadian and the 15-year-old Hannoverian mare (Forsyth FRH & Drosselklang) capped off an amazing week, claiming top honors in the 1.60m challenge by leaving all the poles up for no penalties and completing the jump-off in 43.220 seconds.
Lucy Deslauriers (USA) & Hester (Wandor van de Mispelaere x Winde D’Artevelde) were the runners-up with no penalties, stopping the timers in 43.660 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Scott Keach (AUS) & Fedor (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Orkaan) earned bronze honors with two penalty-free performances, the decisive one in 45.240 seconds.
