
Santiago Nunez Riva (ESP) & Valentino de Hus Z won the €25,000 Grupo Eulen Grand Prix CSI 2* last Sunday during the Longines Global Champions Tour of Madrid CSI 2* at the Club Villa de Campo de Campo Villa de Madrid in Spain.
The Spaniard and the 8-year-old bay Zangersheide gelding (Vivaldi du Seigneur x Trophee du Rozel) triumphed in the 1.45m contest after completing their second penalty-free performance, stopping the timers in 47.79 seconds.
Second place was claimed by Jacobo Ussia de Garay (ESP) & Vicomte de la Cour by registering no penalties and a jump-off time of 50 seconds flat.
Joel Valles Rosel (ESP) & Seneca de Panoly (Calvaro x Fergar Mail) completed the all-Spanish sweep of the podium, having registered a clean scorecard, just five hundredths of a second slower than the latter two.
