Irma Karlsson (SWE) & Chacconu won the €29,000 Grand Prix CSI 3*, presented by Câmara Municipal de Loule yesterday during the final day of the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre in Quarteira, Faro, Portugal.
The Swede and the 10-year-old bay Oldenburg gelding (Chacco-Blue x Perhaps van het Molenvondel) were simply brilliant, leaving all the poles up and having no penalties attributed to them after completing their jump-off run in 49.03 seconds.
Morgan Bordat (FRA) & Star de La Beviere (Jazz Band Courcelle x Narcos II) had another great performance in the sunny circuit in Portugal. They were not much further behind the winning combination, this time the only difference being six-tenths of a second.
Harry Marshall (IRL) & Barcelona (Vittorio x Jasper) registered the fastest time among the four-faulters in the jump-off, securing third place in 47.64 seconds.
