Amy Inglis (GBR) & Every Way won the €24,600 The City of Mechelen jump-off class CSI 2* last Saturday during the Jumping Mechelen CSI 5*-W/2* in Belgium.
Inglis and the 13-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood stallion mare (Upsilon van de Heffinck x Beach Boy) earned top honors by being the only duo that overcame all the 1.45m obstacles twice, crossing the finish line in 37.85 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Wouter Devos (BEL) & Tonik Hero (Ogano Sitte x Elegant de l’Ile) were the fastest among the 4 combinations that had qualified for the jump-off, eventually finishing second at the expense of one pole down in 35.79 seconds.
Petronella Andersson (SWE) & Burburry (Pacific x Indoctro) secured third place on the podium with four penalties in 36.23 seconds.
