Nicola Pohl Powers Past the Competition in the €55,600 Selleria Equipe Grand Prix CSI 3*

Gorla Minore, Italy – April 23, 2023 – Nicola Pohl (GER) and Catz de Sulpice were the stars that shone the brightest on Sunday at the Equieffe Equestrian Centre as the duo rode away victoriously in the €55,600 Selleria Equipe Grand Prix CSI 3*.

Fifty-eight combinations entered the Gibus Arena for the 1.50m challenge but only two of them managed to clear all the obstacles and complete the first round course within the time allowed of 78 seconds, thus securing a jump-off. In the end, it Pohl who was powered towards victory by the 11-year-old chestnut Selle Français gelding (Tresor de Virton x Vesontio du Mesnil), doing so in 46.90 seconds.

Jenny Krogsaeter (NOR) and Delphi M Z (Diamant de Semilly x Air Jordan Z) were the only combination to qualify for the tiebreaker, finishing second after penalty-free final performance in 49.95 seconds.

Mouda Zeyada (EGY) secured bronze honors on If Looks Could Kill O.H. ( Q Breitling LS x Colman) as the fastest of four-faulters in the first round, doing so due to their time of 71.43 seconds.
