Pedro Veniss & Nimrod de Muze Z Reign in €26,100 Ayuntamiento de Vejer Prize CSI 4*

Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – March 11, 2022 – The Brazilian Pedro Veniss (BRA) returns to the Andalucia Sunshine Tour CSI 4*, achieving his second great victory in this edition of this important international equestrian competition, sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, Regeneration, Justice and Local Administration of the Junta de Andalucía, through Tourism and Sports of Andalusia.

After winning the Gran Premio Equine América with which the third week of competition in Montenmedio closed, the three-time Olympic rider and ‘Nimrod de Muze Z‘ (Nabab de Reve x Tinka’s Boy) clearly prevailed today in the City Hall Trophy from Vejer de la Frontera. His time of 66.98 seconds was undeniable, allowing him to overtake his compatriot.

Bernardo Alves (BRA) & Mosito van het Hellehof

Fellow Olympian Bernardo Cardoso de Resence Alves (BRA) and ‘Mosito Van het Hellehof‘ had been at the head of the competition until then. They finally kept a meritorious second position with no penalties and a time of 68.14 seconds.

Sameh El Dahan (GBR) & Wicked Enigma

Third was the British Sameh El Dahan (GBR) with ‘Wicked Enigma‘, while the German Kendra Brinkop (GER), a regular on the Andalusia Sunshine Tour podiums, placed fourth with ‘Malissa de Muze‘. The Swedish Douglas Lindelöw (SWE) with ‘Casemiro CC‘ closed the Top-5 of this test that was held on the main grass court David Broome with a fault time scale and in which a total of 73 combinations took part.
