Virginie Thonon & High Tech Vy de Septon Triumphant in €25,500 Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort Trophy CSI 2*

Oliva Nova, Spain – October 02, 2021 – Virginie Thonon (BEL) and High Tech Vy de Septon were back in the winner’s circle, claiming top honors in the €25,500 Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort Trophy CSI 2* on Saturday at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour.

After winning the Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2* last Thursday, once again the Belgian teamed up with the 2007 bay Belgian Warmblood stallion (Del Piero P&B x Chellano Z), posting two more clear rounds, the decisive one in 41.60 seconds.

Wout-Jan van der Schans (NED) and Forlan van de Sprengenberg (Nabab de Reve x Corland) secured the silver, backed by a penalty-free jump-off effort only three-hundredths of a second slower than the latter two.

The third spot of the podium was conquered by another Dutchman too, advancing to and completing the tiebreaker without having any penalties attributed to him. Hendrik-Jan Schuttert (NED) rode Good Farming HS towards bronze honors in 43.20 seconds.
