Brussels, Belgium – August 31, 2021 – The Swiss anthem was played again for the second time during prizegiving ceremonies on Sunday at the Brussels Stephex Masters CSI 5* / 3* / 2*! Martin Fuchs (SUI) and The Sinner were the winners of the €52,300 Stephex Horsetrucks Grand Prix CSI 3*.
Riding the 2008 bay Oldenburg gelding (Sanvaro x Landgold 3), the Swiss was supreme in the 1.50m challenge, securing the win after clearing all the obstacles flawlessly for the second time, crossing the finish line in 37.49 seconds during the tiebreaker.
A prelude to what would happen in the five-star grand prix too, Stephex stables was represented on the podium. Kendra Claricia Brinkop (GER) Narcos van de Smidshoeve (Toulon x Thunder van de Zuuthoeve) matched the double clear by the eventual winners, finishing second only due to their final time of 37.65 seconds.
Leonie Peeters (BEL) and Tinkoucha Hero Z (Tinka’s Boy x Diamant de Semilly) rounded out the top three with no penalties and a jump-off time of 40.50 seconds.
