Riders & Horses for the Longines Global Champions Tour of Paris CSI 5*

Paris, France – June 24, 2021 – Showjumping is back and hopefully back for many years to come at one of the most breathtaking settings in the world, alongside the Eiffel Tower at the city of Paris in France. Stars of the noble sport and their high-flying beasts have landed at the “City of Love” for the Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) for the sixth leg of the championship series.

With the absence of the two highest-ranked riders in the overall championships standings, Peder Fredricson (SWE) and Scott Brash (GBR), the event offers a huge opportunity to their closest rivals, Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS), Ben Maher (GBR) and Bart Bles (NED) to make up some ground, making the race even more interesting.

The latter three will be joined by the likes of Simon Delestre (FRA), Julien Epaillard (FRA), Roger-Yves Bost (FRA), defending 2019 LGCT Grand Prix of Paris CSI 5* winner, Christian Ahlmann (GER), Shane Breen (IRL), Dani Waldman (ISR) and Margie Engle (USA), all in pursuit of gold and glory starting on Friday.
