Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – November 05, 2020 – The 2020 Vilamoura Champions Tour has truly become the home of champions this Autumn and it was no different today during the first major class of the fifth week of competition there. Featuring 130 combinations the €25,650 Two-Phase CSI 3* Challenge with aggregated penalties had to be split into two sections, following the California split format.
Michael Pender (IRL) and HHS Fast Forward (Fortunus x Cavalier Royale) were the winners of Section A of the 1.45m challenge, registering no penalties and a final time of 30.47 seconds.
Oliver Robert (FRA) and Vangog du Mas Garnier (Cornet Obolensky x Quidam de Revel) claimed the second spot on the podium, advancing to and completing the second phase of the test without a single penalty-point, crossing the finish line in 30.83 seconds.
Lily Attwod (GBR) and Karibou Horta (Landor S x For Pleasure) also had a clean scorecard all the way to the end, rounding out the top three in 31.24 seconds.
