San Juan Capistrano, California, United States – Lindsay Archer (USA) and Jarpur claimed top honors in the $25,000 Markel Insurance Grand Prix last Saturday during the Blenheim EquiSports’ Showpark August Festival at the Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park.

The American and the 11-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood gelding (Ogano Sitte x Warkant Van ‘t Gestelhof) triumphed in the jump-off challenge by clearing the 1.45m obstacles in their two performances, completing the decisive one in 40545 seconds.

The winners of the Grand Prix the previous week, Nicole Haunert  (USA) and Calgary IV (Casall x Calato) were right on the heels of the eventual winners, finishing second less than one-tenth of a second behind, crossing the finish line in 40.626 seconds.

Misty Cassar (USA) and her awesome Viking completed the podium backed by a clean scorecard and a final time of 42.390 seconds.
