Crans-Montana, Switzerland – May 06, 2020 – The organizers of the Jumping Longines Crans-Montana released a statement last week announcing that this year’s edition of the event has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Their official announcement states the following:
Following the Federal Council’s decision to forbid the major events until the end of the summer, the 2020 edition of the Jumping Longines Crans-Montana must unfortunately be cancelled.
Furthermore, the already communicated ban on events in the important countries of the equestrian branch, i.e. France, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, as well as the restrictions at border crossings, no longer guarantees the presence of riders.
We will miss you very much this summer, dear riders, spectators, partners, staff and friends of the event, but we are looking forward to seeing you again from 15 to 18 July 2021!
Until then, please take care of yourself and your loved ones.”
