Rodrigo Lambre & Chapilot Gallop to First in $535,000 Banorte Cup CSI 4* at Guadalajara

Guadalajara, Mexico – January 24, 2020 – The Brazilian flag was raised high as Rodrigo Lambre (BRA) and Chapilot claimed top honors in the MXN $535,000 Banorte Cup CSI 4* last Friday during the Triple Copa Scappino CSI 4*-W at the Guadalajara Country Club.

Lambre guided the 13-year-old bay Hannoverian gelding (Chacco-Blue x Pilot) brilliantly throughout the two phases of the 1.45m challenge, completing the second section in 30.96 seconds for the victory.

Juan Carlos Martin del Campo (MEX) and Paddington 92 (Pontifex x Landadel) earned silver honors by advancing to phase two and crossing the finish line without having any penalties attributed to them, stopping the timers in 32.05 seconds.

Hector Caro (MEX) and Craig (Canturo x Contender) rounded out the top three backed by a clean scorecard and a final time of 32.85 seconds.
